DEMS Project enjoys a very committed partnership that has the good management of social care services at the core or their interests. It is composed of social service providers, research centres, and European and regional networks, covering five EU Countries: Belgium, Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, and Spain.

Tricenteanire - Project Coordinator

Tricentenaire is a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation that has been working since 1979 to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and their families. Today, nearly 300 professionals and volunteers are active in various services active in various services: training centres, residences, social education. It is active in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, providing high quality services for adults with disabilities, through housing, accommodation, day centres, coordination and provision of help and care, psychosocial and therapeutic support, training and work activities, social therapeutic support, training and work, sports and leisure activities, as well as social inclusion. Its action is based on a co-productive approach, which bases the quality of its services on the quality of the training of its professionals and leaders.

In-Red Galicia

IN-RED is a Spanish business association, which was established in 2019 by non-profit organisations with more than 30 years of experience in the field of intellectual disability and disability with special needs. Its members are associations, foundations and shelter employment centres, providing support and social services to more than 3.000 people, such as education, day care, residential and home care, job assistance and vocational training for employability. IN-RED includes 20 members, which employ more than 900 professionals in the disability field.   

is a Spanish non-profit organisation founded in 1962 with a heartfelt mission: to support people with intellectual disabilities and their families so they can live fulfilling, dignified lives. It began as a family-centred initiative and has grown into a professional, rights-based organisation dedicated to inclusion, empowerment, and quality of life.  The name Esment comes from a Mallorcan word meaning to act with care, attention, and thoughtful intention — a philosophy that still guides their work today.

Bocconi University was established in Milan in 1902 as a private, independent, non-profit university, becoming the first Italian institution of higher education to grant a degree in Economics. Today Bocconi is considered the leading university in Business and Economics in Italy and worldwide and regularly appears in the most prominent rankings, which cover its areas of expertise in economics and management, and more generally the social sciences. Eight permanent research centres and six laboratories make Bocconi scientific productivity high, both in terms of number of publications and awarded research grants. The number of publications in prestigious A+ magazines has constantly grown in recent years, as have the citations and the H-Index, which measures the impact of research. The number of international grants acquired increases year on year and to date there have been 50 European Research Council grants hosted. In 2022, there were 63 active international grants of which 47 funded by the European Commission (including ERCs, MSCA, EuropeAid and Erasmus projects).

ARFIE (Association for Research and Training on Integration in Europe) was established in 1992 as a European NGO to:

  • Improve the support, social inclusion and availability of services for people with disabilities, people with important dependency needs and with associated mental health needs;

  • Promote quality staff training for social service providers.

Today ARFIE is a wide European network of social service providers and professionals that promotes EU projects and research with the aim of fostering innovative and inclusive approaches in the field of service provision for people with disabilities.

Open Group is social service provider based in Bologna deeply engaged in the social sector, focusing on supporting the most vulnerable, including migrants, individuals with addictions, and particularly people with disabilities. We manage services such as day centers, sheltered workshops, and co-housing. Our approach in working with the target group, involves tailoring activities to individual needs for greater autonomy, utilizing creativity, and new technologies to improve skills and well-being.

Live-säätiö (Live Foundation) is a non-profit organisation that focuses on vocational education, employment services, rehabilitation, and social innovation for individuals with disabilities and other groups in need of special support. Live operates in the field of education, training, and employment services, working closely with the public and private sectors to create inclusive opportunities. Live provides vocational education and lifelong learning opportunities to individuals with disabilities and other disadvantaged groups. Live is committed to developing innovative, inclusive, and sustainable solutions for professional training and employment, ensuring that individuals with disabilities gain equal access to the labor market.
